Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions
Check Test Square & Print
Before printing all pages, print page one and verify the test square measures exactly 2" x 2" (5cm x 5cm). Once confirmed, print all remaining pages at 100% scale with no fit to page.
Pro Tip:This test ensures your pattern will be the correct size. If the square is off, adjust your printer settings and try again!Organize Your Pages
Lay out all your printed pages and organize them by page number. Each page has a number and letter centered on the page - the letter corresponds to the row and the number corresponds to the column.
Pro Tip:Check the assembly diagram on the last page of your pattern. It shows exactly how all the pages fit together in a grid!Trim the Margins
Cut off the margins on the right and top edges of each page. Leave the margins on the bottom and left edges intact.
-
Cut along the edge of the pattern lines -
You can use scissors or a rotary cutter -
Be precise but don't stress - small variations won't affect your final garment
Match the Alignment Marks
Each page has alignment marks (triangles) that help you line up adjacent pages perfectly.
Perfect alignment:The triangles should line up exactly, and the pattern lines should flow smoothly from one page to the next.Tape or Glue Pages Together
Once aligned, secure the pages together with clear tape or a glue stick.
-
Use clear tape on the back of the pattern -
Or use a glue stick along the edges -
Work row by row for best results
Pro Tip:Use removable tape first! This way you can adjust if something isn't quite aligned. Once everything looks good, secure it permanently.Cut Out Your Pattern Pieces
Once all pages are assembled, cut out your pattern pieces along the lines for your size.
Congratulations!Your pattern is now ready to use. Time to start sewing!
